Shipping & returns

Short version: it ships insured and signed for, it arrives within a couple of weeks, and if you open the box and it isn't for you, you have fourteen days to send it back.

Where I ship

United States only for now. If you're elsewhere and you want a watch, email me — I'd rather work it out case by case than promise something on a page I can't deliver on.

How it ships

  • Insured for the full value, and sent by a method that actually covers a watch — ordinary parcel insurance mostly doesn't
  • Adult signature required. No exceptions, no leaving it on a doorstep. This protects both of us
  • Packed in a hard case inside a plain outer box. Nothing on the outside says "watch"
  • Tracking goes to you as soon as it's booked

Watches in stock go out within three business days. If something takes longer I'll tell you why rather than let it go quiet.

Returns

Fourteen days from delivery, for any reason or none. You don't have to justify it — a watch either works on your wrist or it doesn't, and you can't tell from photographs.

What I need back

  • The watch, in the condition it arrived — worn to try, not worn for a fortnight
  • The strap or bracelet it came on, plus any spares included
  • The case and packaging

Sized a bracelet? That's fine, send the removed links back with it. Scratched it, dropped it, or got it wet — that's no longer a return, but email me anyway and we'll see where we are.

How to start one

Email hello@elitewatchworks.com with your build number and say you'd like to return it. I'll confirm the address before you send anything.

  • You cover return shipping, insured and signature required
  • Refund goes back to your original payment method within five business days of the watch arriving and being checked
  • Full price refunded. No restocking fee — I'd rather have the watch back than argue over it

If it arrives damaged or doesn't arrive

Tell me straight away and photograph the packaging before you unpack any further. That's what makes an insurance claim work. Don't send it back until we've spoken — how it's handled depends on the carrier.

Commissions

Not something I'm taking on right now. If that changes, a made-to-order build will have its own terms, because a watch built to someone's specification isn't a watch I can resell.

Something else on your mind

Email me. I'd rather answer a question before you buy than deal with a surprise after.
